GREEN BAY – Fans should brace for typical fall weather and potential rain this Sunday as the Green Bay Packers face off against the Detroit Lions at Lambeau Field in a crucial NFC North clash.
All four previous home games started at noon, but this will mark the Packers’ first 3:25 p.m. kickoff of the season at Lambeau.
UPDATE: The National Weather Service in Green Bay is now predicting a 90% chance of showers, mainly after 7 a.m. Sunday, with a 100% chance of rain expected for Sunday night.
Temperatures are projected to be in the mid-50s at kickoff, dropping to the lower 50s by the end of the game, according to the National Weather Service. Prior to kickoff, temperatures may reach up to 56 degrees.

Winds will come from the southeast, reaching speeds of 15-20 mph, and cloudy conditions are expected to prevail during the game.
Kaiser recommends that fans wear a rain jacket and boots, or have a plastic poncho handy, as umbrellas are not permitted in Lambeau Field.
