Jennifer Turpin, the eldest of the Turpin siblings, has tied the knot.
On October 27, Jennifer married her husband Aron (whose last name she has kept private) during a Gothic-themed outdoor ceremony at The Miller Gardens in Rancho Cucamonga, California. She shared highlights of her special day in an Instagram reel posted on November 9, captioning it, “10/27/2024 Wedding Day 🥰🖤💍.”
Jennifer invited all 12 of her siblings to the ceremony, confirming their attendance in response to a comment on Instagram. “We did. I just can’t post most out of respect/privacy ❤,” she wrote.
The wedding, held just days before Halloween, was filled with spooky and unique touches. Custom glassware featured skeleton depictions of the bride and groom, while a coffin-shaped ring box, napkins inscribed with “Till Death Do Us Part,” and black-and-red floral arrangements added to the haunting aesthetic.
Decor elements included a guest book table adorned with red rose petals, a skull, and sculptures such as Thing, the hand from The Addams Family. Glow sticks illuminated a skeleton chilling in a drink cooler, and a cauldron brimming with candy contributed to the festive atmosphere. Tables were decorated with black confetti and jack-o’-lantern goodie bags.
Jennifer made a dramatic entrance down a fog-covered aisle, carrying a bouquet of black and white flowers. Her wedding dress featured black lace over a sweetheart neckline, paired with lace-up black ankle boots detailed with bows and pearl charms. She completed the look with smokey eye makeup, black lipstick, ombre black nails, and a black-and-white flower crown atop her short, curled hair. Aron wore a black tuxedo with chain accents.
The newlyweds posed for photos against eerie backdrops, including a nighttime graveyard and haunted mansion. Jennifer revealed on Instagram that Aron had asked her to be his girlfriend on August 6, 2022, and proposed exactly one year later on August 6, 2023.
Before the ceremony, Jennifer was seen getting emotional in her dressing room, supported by her sisters, including Jordan Turpin. Jordan was instrumental in rescuing their family in January 2018, escaping their abusive home and calling 911 to expose years of mistreatment.
The siblings’ parents, David and Louise Turpin, were convicted of multiple felonies, including torture, false imprisonment, and child cruelty, and were sentenced to 25 years to life in prison. Despite their traumatic past, the Turpin siblings remain close. “We all look out for each other,” Jordan told PEOPLE in a 2022 interview. “We have this super big bond… Nothing could ever break it.”
Jennifer, who has overcome her difficult childhood, is thriving. She is now an independent author, motivational speaker, singer-songwriter, CEO of DAWN’s Designs Co., phlebotomist, and Esoes BadAssador, according to her Instagram bio.
After the wedding, she and her husband celebrated with a honeymoon in Hawaii, enjoying the beach, reconnecting with family, and getting tattoos to mark the occasion.
